2-Day Tarangire & Lake Manyara Big Game Experience Safari

Your safari begins with an early morning departure from Arusha, followed by a scenic drive to Tarangire National Park, famous for its vast savannah landscapes and iconic baobab trees. Upon arrival, you will enjoy a full-day game drive exploring the park’s diverse habitats along the Tarangire River. Tarangire is renowned for its large elephant herds and offers excellent opportunities to see lions, giraffes, zebras, wildebeest, buffalo, hartebeest, and a wide variety of bird species. During the dry season, the Tarangire River becomes a vital water source, attracting a high concentration of wildlife. A picnic lunch will be served inside the park before continuing with afternoon game viewing. In the late afternoon, you will drive to the Karatu or Manyara area for dinner and overnight at your selected lodge or camp.

After breakfast, you will depart for Lake Manyara National Park for a morning and early afternoon game drive. The park is known for its lush groundwater forest, open plains, and the alkaline lake that attracts diverse wildlife. Lake Manyara is famous for its tree-climbing lions, large troops of baboons, elephants, hippos, buffalo, giraffes, and seasonal flamingos along the lake shores. A picnic lunch will be enjoyed inside the park before continuing your exploration. In the afternoon, you will return to Arusha, arriving in the late afternoon or early evening for drop-off at your hotel or airport.
