Day 1: Arusha to Tarangire National Park

Your safari adventure begins with an early morning departure from Arusha, heading towards Tarangire National Park. Famous for its large herds of elephants and iconic baobab trees, Tarangire offers an incredible start to your journey. Upon arrival, embark on a game drive through the park’s diverse landscapes, spotting elephants, lions, giraffes, and a variety of bird species. Enjoy a picnic lunch within the park, taking in the beautiful surroundings. Continue with an afternoon game drive, exploring more of Tarangire’s wildlife-rich areas. As the day concludes, head to your lodge or campsite for dinner and an overnight stay, immersed in the tranquility of the African bush.
Day 2: Tarangire to Ngorongoro Crater

After breakfast, depart from Tarangire and drive towards the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. En route, enjoy scenic views of the Great Rift Valley and the lush highlands. Upon arrival at the Ngorongoro Crater, descend into the crater floor for an exciting game drive. The Ngorongoro Crater is home to a dense concentration of wildlife, including the Big Five – lions, elephants, buffaloes, leopards, and rhinoceros. Spot these and other animals as you explore the diverse habitats within the crater. Enjoy a picnic lunch by the hippo pool, where you can observe hippos wallowing in the water. In the late afternoon, ascend from the crater and head to your accommodation in Karatu or a nearby area for dinner and an overnight stay.
Day 3: Ngorongoro to Lake Eyasi and Return to Arusha

On the final day of your safari, depart from Ngorongoro and drive to Lake Eyasi, a remote soda lake located at the base of the Eyasi escarpment. Lake Eyasi is home to the Hadzabe and Datoga tribes, who maintain their traditional hunter-gatherer and pastoralist lifestyles. Upon arrival, visit a local village to learn about the unique culture and daily activities of the Hadzabe people. Participate in traditional hunting and gathering activities, gaining insight into their way of life. After this enriching cultural experience, enjoy a picnic lunch by the lake. In the afternoon, begin your journey back to Arusha, reflecting on the diverse experiences and stunning landscapes of your 3-day safari. Arrive in Arusha by late afternoon or early evening, where you will be dropped off at your hotel or the airport, concluding your unforgettable adventure.
