Day 1: Arrival in Arusha

Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport, you will be greeted by a representative from World Compass Adventures and transferred to your hotel in Arusha. After settling in, you will have a safari briefing with your guide to discuss the itinerary and answer any questions. Enjoy a relaxing evening and dinner at your hotel, preparing for the exciting adventure ahead.
Day 2: Arusha to Serengeti National Park

After breakfast, depart from Arusha and drive to Serengeti National Park, passing through the scenic landscapes of the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Along the way, enjoy the stunning views and perhaps a brief stop at the Ngorongoro Crater viewpoint for photos. Arrive at the Serengeti by midday, where your safari journey begins with a game drive en route to your lodge or campsite. After settling in and enjoying lunch, the afternoon is dedicated to exploring the Serengeti’s vast plains, home to lions, elephants, giraffes, zebras, and wildebeests. As the sun sets, return to your lodge or campsite for a delicious dinner and an overnight stay in the heart of the Serengeti.
Day 3: Full Day in Serengeti National Park

Begin your third day with an early morning game drive at sunrise, an ideal time to witness predators in action. After this exhilarating experience, return to your accommodation for a hearty breakfast. Spend the remainder of the day exploring the diverse habitats of the Serengeti, visiting different areas known for their wildlife activity. Day 7: Serengeti to Ngorongoro Conservation Area

After breakfast, enjoy a final morning game drive in the Serengeti before departing for the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. En route, take in the scenic beauty of the highlands and enjoy the diverse landscapes. Arrive at your lodge or campsite near the Ngorongoro Crater in the late afternoon. After settling in, enjoy a relaxing evening, dinner, and an overnight stay, preparing for the next day's adventure in the crater.
Day 8: Ngorongoro Crater to Arusha

After an early breakfast, descend into the Ngorongoro Crater for a morning game drive. The Ngorongoro Crater is home to a dense concentration of wildlife, including the Big Five – lions, elephants, buffaloes, leopards, and rhinoceros. Spot these and other animals as you explore the diverse habitats within the crater. Enjoy a picnic lunch by the hippo pool, where you can observe hippos wallowing in the water. In the early afternoon, ascend from the crater and begin your journey back to Arusha. Reflect on the diverse experiences and stunning landscapes of your 8-day safari as you arrive in Arusha by late afternoon or early evening.
